Last week I was interviewed by a young journalist, Rebecca Copley, who works for the local newspaper, The Monte Vista Journal. I’d sent them a press release about the upcoming book launch (October 26 at the Narrow Gauge Book Coop in Alamosa), and Rebecca called. The paper wanted to do a feature.
One of the (uncountable) great things about living in a one-horse town (and I wouldn’t live anywhere else) is every individual is important to the community. My book and my story would be lost in the Santa Ana winds in LA, but here?
I was eager to see the article and it arrived today — yes, we still have a print newspaper.
Rebecca did a great job.
